The Good
Guests who reviewed recently, of the reviews read for this report, were pleased about several aspects of the hotel including its location, its staff, its restaurant and it recently renovated rooms.
Guests that liked the hotel's location were mainly happy that the hotel was close to highways. Many guests mentioned that the property was close to the 404 and 407. Occasionally guests also mentioned that there was shopping available near the hotel.
Many guests also seemed to think that the hotel was competitively priced. Multiple guests indicated that the rates that they paid were very reasonable.
Another compliment that the hotel received had to do with its recent renovations. Guests found the beds comfortable and the rooms nicely decorated. Other comments centred on the cleanliness and quietness of the hotel rooms
Many guests were well pleased with the on-site dining at this hotel and mentioned the large portions and hot food at breakfast, the cheerful and efficient staff and the value for price.
Other high points were the friendliness of the staff, the clean indoor pool large enough to do laps and the value added by having free parking, many cable channels and free Wi-Fi that works well.
The Bad
On the critique side, the hotel lost some points from recent guests over cold rooms that had insufficient heating during the late winter (January 2015), older mattresses that sank in the middle, the sound of water pipes in the walls and poor water pressure in one person's shower, but these complaints were not repeated throughout the reviews read and did not seem indicative of very many guest experiences.
