Overview
Located a 6-minute drive outside of the downtown London area, this Victorian hotel was built as a private residence in 1878 and maintains period decor and ambience. With only 19 rooms, it appeals to travellers who are looking for unique and more intimate accommodations.

All of the 19 rooms at this hotel have free Wi-Fi, a 27" flat-screen TV, coffee service, a hair dryer and an iron and an ironing board. Guests can choose between standard rooms (queen or double beds) or more spacious suites (king bed and jacuzzi and/or a fireplace). Pets are not permitted at this hotel.

Guests can dine on site at Avenue, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. There is also a selection of restaurants within a 5-minute drive. On-site amenities include free parking and a spa.

This hotel is a 3-minute drive to Thames Park (a large green space with walking trails and an outdoor heated pool open in the summer). The Good
Based on the reviews sourced for this analysis, guests generally had a good experience at this hotel and much of that could be attributed to the hotel's historic roots and its location.

Guests really liked the historical character of this hotel, which dates back to the Victorian era, and felt that it contributed positively to the ambience and enhanced their stay. Much of the hotel is decorated with Victorian-era antiques, which guests liked.

Guests commented favourably on this hotel's location and liked that it was slightly removed from the downtown area (6-minute drive). They said that the hotel's setting in a mostly residential area was tranquil, and they liked that there was green space and mature trees around the hotel.

Staff here were friendly, attentive and were swift to react to guest requests.

Rooms were clean, large and nicely decorated, according to guests.

There were some additional comments from guests who enjoyed the food and the service at the on-site restaurant and about comfy beds.
