The Bad
There were mostly positive things said about this resort, in the reviews used for this analysis, however there were some recurring negative comments about outdated furniture and decor, the food, extra fees and the toiletries.
A frequent comment from guests was that the rooms are in need of upgrades. One guest said "it was quite spacious and clean although the bathroom and room furniture were outdated" and another guest said "the furniture looked like it was 30 years old, there was water damage on the wall".
Some guests felt the resort was overpriced. Due to the outdated rooms, they felt they were not getting what they paid for despite the great amenities. There were also complaints about the price of breakfast ($24.95) and the add-on fees for extra activities such as access to Splash Zone, the inflatable water park, which is an additional $20 (for the duration of your stay).
A few guests were unaware of the additional 5% 'amenities fee' added to the bill and felt the resort should have done more to communicate this fee.
There were inadequate toiletry supplies in the bathrooms, according to some guests. These guests had to call reception for extra supplies.
