This hotel offers a complimentary hot buffet breakfast (including pastries, hot oatmeal, fruit and hardboiled eggs) and is well-suited with guests that seek accommodations that offer something more than a basic continental breakfast with the room rate. Guests who want an indoor pool to use during their stay may also find this hotel appealing.

Every room at this hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a coffeemaker, a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board. Rooms have either king or double beds to choose from. Pets are not permitted at this hotel.

While there is no restaurant located on site, there are a number of restaurants located within a 5-minute walk from the hotel (including well-known chains like the Keg, Boston Pizza and Tim Horton's). On-site amenities include free parking, an indoor pool and a sauna.

The Good
Many of the reviews used for this analysis were favourable and guests really liked this hotel's location and the customer service.

Guests liked this hotel's location and appreciated its proximity to Highway 401 (about a 1-minute drive) and to shops and restaurants. 

Guests appreciated the friendly, attentive service delivered by staff at this hotel. Front desk staff were noted as being particularly keen and accommodating. Some staff members were mentioned by name with thanks from guests.

There was a sense from guests that there was good value received for what they paid. Guests commented on reasonable and affordable pricing.

A number of guests appreciated the convenience of having a complimentary breakfast offered on site. They said that the food was tasty and that there was a good selection offered.

The Bad
A lot of the reviews used for this analysis were positive, but guests did have a few complaints in common. Guests were most frequently disappointed with a lack of thorough cleaning and with the aging decor.

A number of guests were bothered by lingering odours of cigarette smoke. Guests also commented on a number of smokers lingering around the side entrances, contributing to the odour.

There was a lack of detailed cleaning at this hotel and there were a number of comments regarding the floors. Guests frequently complained about the carpeting in the rooms and said that it was worn and unclean. One guest suggested that shoes should be worn at all times in the rooms. Guests also commented on stained couches and linens.

Guests also suggested that decor was aging and needed to be replaced. Furniture (tables in particular) were damaged or broken. 

A number of guests complained about the on-site parking and said that the lot was small and that finding a spot was a challenge.
