Four Points by Sheraton Barrie

The staff were friendly and amenable and this made things go smoothly, although guests and staff were sometimes faced with challenges during the construction phase.

Guests were pleased with the modern, clean and beautiful rooms. They enjoyed the modern decor, comfortable beds with full-size pillows and brand-new glass showers with good shower pressure.

The restaurant offered good food and guests liked the choices offered for breakfast. Guests also found nice decor in the lobby bar and seating area.

Guests liked the location. They found it convenient to major freeway exits and not far to town and restaurants, mostly by car, although there is a Subway Sandwiches and Tim Hortons in walking distance.

Some felt the hotel offered good value.

A few guests felt the hotel was understaffed with kinks in the service, and occasionally guests found the staff absent from the front desk. Some guests complained of parties and noise transfer from nearby rooms and the hallway without the proper overall management to control those causing disturbances. 

Some were disappointed that the hotel no longer offered a free breakfast and one guest felt that breakfast service times should be later for those who sleep in. One reviewer complained of very slow service at the restaurant.

Other complaints were: no pay movies available on the cable package, not all rooms had tubs, poor signage outside making the hotel a little difficult to locate, and only one elevator a problem for some guests.
