Overview
Located in Algonquin Park and about a 23-minute drive from Highway 60, Arowhon Pines is suitable for car travellers who prefer a scenic hotel with meeting/banquet space and on-site dining in Algonquin Park.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms (located in multiple-room cabins) comes equipped with a terrace or balcony, a seating area, a common lounge area with a wood-burning fireplace and a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. Suites with a separate bedroom and a desk are also available, as are private cabins.

Please note there is no cell phone service or Internet access at this hotel.

Hotel amenities include a free vehicle day pass to Algonquin Park, a sauna, two tennis courts, meeting/banquet space, a games room, shuffleboard, badminton, canoes, kayaks, free parking and an on-site dining room that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's restaurant, location, staff and rooms.

The hotel's restaurant was praised by many lodgers, who described it as fabulous, with food that is plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant service staff were also praised. One patron noted, "Restaurant staff made us feel special and were always so accommodating at mealtimes. They also provided picnic lunches for our treks. Food was of the highest quality at all times but the staff made it all the more pleasurable in the amazing hexagonal restaurant by the lake".

Numerous reviewers enjoyed the hotel's location, describing it as peaceful, beautiful and serene, as well as close to hiking trails. One guest remarked, "The view is terrific out over the lake. Nice dock for swimming. Lounge chairs for relaxing. Canoes are available for a paddle on the lake; or take a lunch and go for an extended paddle that with a portage or two can take you into adjacent lakes. There are also hiking trails".

Several lodgers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They found the staff to be attentive, helpful and friendly. 

The hotel's accommodations were enjoyed by several travellers. They described their rooms as updated, clean and comfortable, with great lake views. A few guests had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).
