Hotel’s location: This hotel is in a prime downtown location across from a pleasant green space along the waterfront. Restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries and museums are within a 5-minute walk, and guests who want to access the ferry terminal (Bay Ferries), will find it a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk away.

The Good
The reviews were mixed with some guests finding this hotel serviceable and others finding it too dated. Although the hotel is tired, there were several redeeming characteristics that made guests' stays enjoyable.
The staff were a definite highlight with guests saying that they provided tremendous service.
Views of the harbour and sunsets were another pleasant part of the stay, along with easy access to parking.
Some guests enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.
The Bad
Although the hotel is completing renovations, some guests felt it was just too old to enjoy. They mentioned several things about their stay that were disappointing.
more The remodelling of the building made it look like a construction site and the parking area was uneven and badly needed resurfacing.
Some guests were disappointed with their rooms. They reported stained carpets, old TVs, a noisy AC unit, patched wallpaper and dated furnishings.
Although some guests enjoyed meals on site, a few guests were dissatisfied with the restaurant. They complained that it was understaffed, with slow service and said the food did not taste good.
Occasionally, guests found the parking on site limited.
