This inn is 120 years old and is also a heritage museum. Offering rooms with original woodwork and period furnishings, this property is well suited for guests who prefer accommodations with historical significance.

All rooms are smoke free and include free Wi-Fi, free local and long-distance calls (North America only), a TV and DVD player, bathrobes, a hair dryer and air conditioning. Suites at this property also include an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, a fireplace, a kitchenette and a living room with a sofabed. One room has a private bathroom, while all other rooms and suites have en suite bathrooms. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are not available and all rooms are accessible by stairs only.

Free parking is available on site and pets are not permitted.

A free cooked breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Guests choose their breakfast menu the night before and the menu includes pancakes, French toast, omelettes or a gluten free option. Tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt and homemade jams are also available. This property does not have an on-site restaurant.

Other on-site amenities include a sitting area, a guest computer, a book and DVD library, board games, a guest laundry facility, a garden, a playground and a horseshoe pit.

This inn is situated on the Evangeline Trail, at the corner of Highway 1 and 14. King's-Edgehill private boarding school is a 7-minute walk away. Access to Highway 101 and the Haliburton House Museum are both 4 minutes away by car, while Ski Martock is a 7-minute drive away. The town of Wolfville, including Acadia University, is 23 minutes away by car.
