The Bad
Based on the reviews used for this analysis, guests were not impressed with this hotel, overall. Complaints about a lack of detailed attention to cleaning and about the general upkeep and appearance of the rooms were fairly common.
more Guests went on in great detail about the uncleanliness of the rooms. They listed dirty utensils in the kitchenette, clogged hair in the drains, dirty bathrooms, stained carpets and defaced ceilings. The exterior and the grounds of the hotel were unkempt and in need of attention as well, according to some reviewers.
General decor was aging and in need of major updates, according to guests. Two separate guests said that the furniture looked like it had been gleaned from a yard sale.
A few guests had issues working the heating/air conditioning units in the rooms. Several guests found the rooms to be very cold or very hot. When they were able to work the climate control, it emitted an unpleasant odour. Guests also said that it took a very long time for rooms to heat up or to cool down.
Several guests complained about thin walls and loud neighbours in adjacent rooms. They could hear conversations, TVs, etc. in detail, sometimes in the early morning hours.
