The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's location, staff and rooms.
The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers, who described it as beautiful and relaxing, as well as close to the highway, Queensland Beach, shopping and downtown Halifax. One patron noted, "Located on the South Shore, it is a perfect location to day trip to the rest of the province".
Many guests complimented the hotel's staff, characterizing them as accommodating, attentive and welcoming. One traveller remarked, "We booked in the off season but still had such personal service that it puts any hotel we've stayed at to shame. It's love, all love all the time. Ines and family are so attentive to your personal needs that you'll never consider a franchise hotel again".
Several lodgers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They found their rooms to be clean, well equipped and romantic, with comfortable beds. A few guests had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few complaints about the hotel's value and rooms.
There were some odd complaints: one guests found the room humid and musty smelling, one guest was disturbed by the use of the jetted tub in a neighbouring room early in the morning, and a couple of other guests found the beds too short and room too small.
There were some guests who did not like the food on site, but this was not the impression of the majority in the reviews read.
