Overview

Located about a 1-minute drive from North Sydney's city centre along Highway 305, Aaron's Dove House Bed & Breakfast Harbourside is geared towards road travellers who prefer an oceanfront bed and breakfast with a free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and easy highway access.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, a seating area and a private bathroom. Rooms with a fireplace and two separate bedrooms are also available. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

The Good

The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's staff, breakfast, rooms and location.

Numerous travellers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as accommodating, friendly, informative and helpful with suggestions and recommendations.

The hotel's breakfast was the source of many compliments by reviewers, who described it as awesome, delicious and wonderful. One patron noted, "The breakfast was awesome- it's not set at a specific time so you can usually choose when you'd like it. There is also no set menu, you can pick from eggs, meat, beans, waffles, etc to make your breakfast meal".

The hotel's accommodations were praised by several lodgers. They described their rooms as spacious, clean, quiet and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. A few guests had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).

Several guests enjoyed the hotel's location. They found it close to the ocean, restaurants, downtown North Sydney and Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal.
