Overview
This property is situated within the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, on its own peninsula, a 5-minute drive north of Ingonish Beach. Offering multiple on-site dining options, a spa and recreational facilities, this property is well suited for guests looking for a resort-style property in a remote scenic location.

This hotel is smoke free and offers a variety of accommodations. Guests may choose from rooms in the Main Lodge, the Inn at Keltic and private cottages. All rooms include a flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. 

Select rooms in the Main Lodge feature look-out lofts and/or views of the bay. Rooms in the Inn at Keltic also include air conditioning. The Inn at Keltic houses the on-site adventure company (North Nova Adventures) and is the closest building to the AVEDA Spa, the golf course and the Atlantic Restaurant. Cottages also include a fireplace and a deck. 

Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available in the Inn at Keltic and one of the cottages is wheelchair-accessible as well. The Main Lodge does not have accessible rooms and does not have an elevator. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas of the resort. Free parking is available on site and pets are permitted in cottage units only, at no additional fee.

This property offers four on-site restaurants. The Purple Thistle Dining Room serves breakfast and dinner, while the Atlantic Restaurant serves lunch and dinner. The Highland Sitting Room offers bar service and a light fare menu daily from noon to 11 pm. The Highland Sitting Room also features live entertainment. This hotel offers quick-service food at the Highland Express.

The on-site AVEDA Spa offers indoor and outdoor hot tubs, manicures and pedicures, massage, facials and hair design. Other on-site amenities include an outdoor heated pool, a golf course, a tennis court, hiking trails, a beach, a fitness centre, a gift shop, a playground, concierge service and event and conference space.

This hotel has an on-site adventure tour company (North Nova Adventures) that will help arrange whale watching, lake and stream fishing, sea kayaking, mountain bike touring and boat tours.

Access to the Cabot Trail is 4 minutes away by car, while the Cape Smokey Provincial Park is about a 15-minute drive away. The Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, in Baddeck, is about 90 minutes away by car. The closest airport, Sydney Airport (YQY), is about a 2-hour drive away.
