Overview
The Coastal Inn Halifax (formerly Lakeview Inn & Suites) is situated in the Bayers Lake Industrial Park, among shops, restaurants and businesses. Offering a business centre and meeting space, this property is well suited for business guests. Downtown Halifax is about a 20-minute drive away, therefore, it is advisable for guests looking to explore Halifax-area attractions to have their own vehicle.
All rooms are smoke free and include free Wi-Fi (available throughout the hotel), a flat screen TV, a Keurig coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and individual climate control. Select suites and rooms also include a sofabed.
Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Pets under 50 lbs are permitted in rooms on the first and second floors for an additional fee of $10 per pet, per night. Guests travelling with their pets are also required to pay a $200 refundable damage deposit.
A free continental breakfast is served from 6 am to 9:30 am on weekdays and from 7 am to 10:30 am on weekends. This hotel does not have an on-site restaurant.

The staff were complimented for their friendly service by several guests.
A couple of reviewers enjoyed the pool and appreciated that it was open early in the morning and late in the evening.
