The Good
This hotel was very well liked by its guests for providing a clean and comfortable stay in a great downtown location.
The location was considered prime. Guests could access so much on foot, the harbour boardwalk, the Public Garden, shopping, restaurants, groceries, sports facilities, theatre and various attractions.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Guests found well maintained and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Guests also appreciated having kitchen facilities in their rooms (either a mini-kitchen or kitchenette).
Staff were well trained, welcoming and very helpful and guests sometimes called them superb and exceptional.
Although some thought the free continental breakfast was a little basic, guests usually appreciated having this added perk and those who wanted some hot breakfast foods could add side dishes to their meal at a very reasonable cost.
Those who dined on site mentioned enjoying their meal and one guest was quite pleased with happy hour--a glass of wine for only $3.50.
Although some were unhappy to pay extra for parking ($20), some were pleased that it was affordable and secure.
Adding value to the stay were: a very nice rooftop patio with pleasant harbour and citadel views--the perfect place for some quiet relaxation, the rooftop hot tub, rooftop BBQs, free breakfast, free apps and drinks and meeting folks at the manager's reception, 24-hour coffee in the lobby, secure parking and the free use of the pool facilities at Prince George Hotel.
