Overview
This seasonal hotel, (open May-October) was built in 1928 and is situated on the Bay of Fundy. It has a number of on-site amenities, including an 18-hole golf course, an AVEDA spa and children's programs and facilities (playground, children's playroom). This hotel is well-suited for guests that seek resort-style accommodations.
more All rooms have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a hair dryer, a coffeemaker and an iron and ironing board. Standard rooms and suites in the Main Lodge have king, queen or twin beds. There are cottages that have one, two or three bedrooms, a mini-fridge, a microwave and a veranda. All accommodations are smoke-free and pets are permitted for $25 per stay.
Guests can dine on site at Churchill's Restaurant and Lounge, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Sunday Brunch is also served. The 19th Hole Clubhouse and Eatery serves lunch and dinner daily. On-site amenities include free parking, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a gym, biking/hiking trails, tennis courts, shuffleboard, outdoor chess and a croquet field.

The Good
Based on the reviews used for this analysis guests enjoyed their stay at this hotel. They were particularly taken with the hotel's waterfront location and with the hotel's ambience.
more Guests found the waterside Bay of Fundy setting to be peaceful and scenic. The hotel was also surrounded by green space and a beach which guests appreciated. Guests commented favourably on the views that the hotel's surroundings provided.
A number of guests liked this hotel's historic charm and felt that that its traditional appearance and architecture enhanced their stay. Guests used words like "quaint", "elegant" and "charming" to describe the hotel.
Service was of a high level and staff were attentive and very customer-focused, according to guests. These guests said that staff were determined and flexible in making sure that guests were happy and comfortable.
Guests really liked a number of the on-site amenities, including the golf course and the spa. They felt that both were of a high calibre and went far to enhance the experience of staying at the hotel.
Several guests said that the food served in the on-site restaurants was delicious and well-prepared. Menus offered a number of interesting and tasty items.
The Bad
The overwhelming majority of comments used for this analysis were favourable and guest criticisms were not common. There were a small number of complaints which did not seem to be reflective of the overall guest sentiment.
