Located about a 5-minute walk from Digby's city centre and a 7-minute drive from Bay Ferries Digby Terminal, Digby Backpackers Inn is suitable for travellers who prefer a centrally located hostel with a free breakfast and free Wi-Fi near the ferry terminal.
more This smoke-free hostel offers mixed or female dorm rooms with a shared bathroom as well as private rooms with an en suite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi and linens are included. The hostel is not wheelchair accessible.
The hostel also offers a fully equipped common kitchen, a common lounge with cable TV and games, bicycle rentals, BBQ facilities, a garden, free parking and a free continental breakfast. Pets are not permitted.

The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by guests. They were characterized as friendly, available and helpful with suggestions, directions and tour booking.
Numerous reviewers praised their accommodations at the hotel. They described their lodgings as clean, modern, spacious and quiet, with good water pressure and comfortable beds. One patron noted, "The hostel is a very well kept historical house with chunky wooden doorframes and windows. It feels solid and warm and inviting. There's a large, well-equipped kitchen for guests and a comfortable lounge with plenty of space to hang out and chat with other guests. The room I stayed in slept 4 in bunk-beds and had a modern, spacious,very clean en-suite bathroom with shower".
The hotel's location was enjoyed by several lodgers, who found it close to whale watching, the harbour and restaurants. One guest remarked, "It is also the perfect place from which to explore the sights of the area, Annapolis Royal is interesting, Sandy Cove beautiful, and of course a trip down through Digby Neck and Islands to go whale watching from Brier Island".
