Located about a 5-minute walk from Bras d'Or Lake along Highway 205 in Baddeck's city centre, the Inverary Resort is geared towards road travellers who prefer a hotel with on-site dining, meeting/banquet space, a private beach and easy highway access.

Rooms with a fireplace, a jetted tub, a kitchenette, a separate bedroom and a stereo are also available, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's location, staff and rooms.
The hotel's location was enjoyed by many lodgers. They found it close to Bras d'Or Lake, downtown Baddeck, golf, Cabot Trail, the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, highway access, shopping and restaurants.
Numerous reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received, and characterized the staff as friendly, accommodating and efficient. One patron remarked, "The staff here, including the owners and family, go above and beyond in making their resort feel like your home away from home, even offering to personally drive us to the golf course for supper one night".
Several guests complimented the hotel's accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, well equipped and spacious, with comfortable beds, good water pressure and nice lake views. It should be noted, however, that some travellers were disappointed with their accommodations (see below).
