Located about a 3-minute drive from Antigonish's city centre along Highway 245, the Antigonish Evergreen Inn is suitable for travellers who require a centrally located hotel with a free breakfast, extended kitchen amenities and easy highway access.

The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's rooms, staff and breakfast.
Numerous guests praised the hotel's accommodations, describing their rooms as clean, modern, well equipped, spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated, with large bathrooms and comfortable beds and linens. One patron noted, "The room, kitchenette and bathroom were spotlessly clean, comfortable and included all those little touches lacking at other B&Bs/motels. A local information folder, basket of snacks, bathroom toiletries, iron, ironing board, lint roller (yes, those other reviews are true!), tea/coffee supplies, free newspaper.....the list is endless".
The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers, who found them to be friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful with suggestions and directions. One guest remarked, "The owner, Lynne, was what made it into an outstanding stay. She was gracious, friendly and willingly shared her local knowledge".
Many lodgers enjoyed the hotel's breakfast, describing it as delicious, filling and excellent. One traveller stated, "Breakfast was one of the best we had in many hotels / inns in the area. Wonderful to have both fresh strawberries and blueberries, as well as many fresh cakes, scones and cereals". A couple of guests did mention the breakfast room had limited seating, however.
