Overview

This hotel is located on site at the Casino New Brunswick. It offers easy access to the Trans-Canada Hwy and Magnetic Hill attractions and the city centre is a 13-minute drive away.

The hotel has 126 smoke-free rooms on 5 floors with elevator access.

The Good

Guests enjoyed their stay at this hotel.

Guests liked the rooms. They were very clean, quiet, had comfortable beds and were large.

The location offered easy driving access from the highway and to area attractions, restaurants and shopping at Costco and Champlain Mall. Guests liked being able to access the casino and concert hall from indoors.

Staff were described as very friendly and helpful.

Guests enjoyed dining on site. The buffets had a great selection of delicious food and were well priced.

Guests also appreciated: real coffee cream in the guest room, free valet parking, and a great hot tub and pool on site.

The Bad

Some guests left negative feedback online.

Room complaints found were: uncomfortable older mattress, uncomfortable foam pillows, boring room décor, shower lacked a bench, no bathtub in the room, no microwave in the room, dim in-room lighting, no dishes or utensils in mini-kitchen and no fan in the bathroom.

Noise (the sound of TVs and talking) transferred between rooms and from the elevator to nearby rooms.

Other complaints found were: a service fee was added to the price of the room for a housekeeping gratuity, the pool was down for maintenance with no pre-warning, and families with children had to go off site to eat.

Although staff were typically pleasant, they sometimes did not seem genuine or friendly to some guests.
