Located about a 3-minute walk from the banks of the Miramichi River and under a 1-minute's drive from the King George Highway, the Econo Lodge Miramichi is popular with road travellers who require an economical stopover hotel just off the highway with an on-site restaurant.
This hotel has 38 air-conditioned guest rooms, each offering one queen, two double or two queen beds, free Wi-Fi, a coffeemaker with free coffee/tea, a desk, a 32" HDTV, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Mini-fridges and microwaves are available in most rooms. Smoking rooms and ground-floor drive-in rooms are available.
Hotel amenities include meeting/banquet space, a business centre, vending machines, a library, free parking and a free continental breakfast. Pop, snacks and ice can be found in the breakfast area off the lobby. Chatters Pub & Eatery is located on the premises, serves lunch and dinner daily, and offers a discount to hotel guests. The restaurant also has a seasonal patio. The hotel offers wheelchair accessibility, and one pet per room is permitted for a fee of $10 per pet per day.

The hotel's staff were praised by many lodgers, who characterized them as kind, helpful and attentive. Many praised the staff and owners for provided exceptional service. A couple of guests commented on how the owners cleaned snow and water off their windshields and mirrors before they left.
