Located about a 2-minute walk from Whistler Village Gondola and a 3-minute drive from the nearest Highway 99 on-ramp, Mountain Side Hotel Whistler by Executive is geared towards travellers who prefer a condo-style hotel with ski-in/ski-out access, extended kitchen amenities and easy highway access.
more Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms comes equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, a full kitchen, a DVD player, a jetted tub, a dining table, a gas fireplace, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. In-room Wi-Fi is $5.95 per day.
Rooms with a sauna, a separate living room and a sitting area with a sofabed are also available and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers. They described it as easily accessible and close to Whistler Village, ski lifts, restaurants, shopping, bars and Starbucks.
Many lodgers were satisfied with their accommodations at the hotel. They found their rooms to be quiet, well equipped, clean, functional, updated and spacious. Some patrons criticized their lodgings, however (see below).

One traveller noted, "To add to the confusion, the Mountain Side Hotel is also managed by another company who have their front desk in the Mountain Side Hotel lobby, while the Executive Inn front desk is at 4250 Village Stroll. Fortunately, both are within easy walking distance of each other".
