This hotel is located in the Lower Whistler Village and is about a 6-minute walk from the ski gondolas for accessing the ski trails on Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV with basic cable channels, a DVD player, a coffeemaker, a sitting area, a safe, window air conditioner units and views of the village or parking lot. Room extras include a full kitchen, a second bathroom and a second TV. Rooms are furnished with 1 king bed, 1 king, 2 twins and a sofabed, or 2 queen beds and a sofabed. (King beds split into twin beds and the sofabeds are queen size.)
Underground parking is available on site for $18.90 per night. (Garage clearance is 6' 11".)
The on-site Araxi Restaurant & Bar, (under separate management) serves dinner, Sunday Brunch and drinks.

The reviews were somewhat mixed with some guests focusing on the good location of this property and finding it a decent place for an overnight stay.
Location was the biggest plus for this hotel and many guests loved that aspect of their stay. They spoke of being close to a local market with fresh produce, a grocery store, a liquor store, bars and restaurants. The gondola ski lift, as well as many amenities were all within walking distance.
Guests liked the staff and said they provided very friendly service, fast check-ins and valuable information on the area. Others mentioned that the staff were accommodating with guests' needs.
There were guests who found the hotel serviceable for either an overnight stay as somewhere to sleep, and there were others who liked having a well-located, cheaper option with a kitchen to further mitigate travel costs.
There were guests who did not like this hotel and said they would not come back. They found it just too old, with non-functioning amenities and too noisy for their comfort levels.
One of the most common complaints was the older state of the hotel which, according to one guest, was in dire need of updating. Guests found amenities that did not function well and had not been repaired or replaced for the guests. Examples given were cracks in the ceilings and walls, freezer frozen shut, phone not working, a noisy fan, low water pressure in sink and shower, poor to no air conditioning with very hot rooms in the summer, very slow elevator, old tiles in pool area, smelly rooms and springy and uncomfortable mattresses.
Some reviewers thought that housekeeping could have done a better job replenishing towels and in-room complimentary items and several guests found the rooms not cleaned to the edges or under the beds. Some also complained of negligent housekeeping during their stays.
Guests provided mixed reviews about the Wi-Fi, and one guest said that free Wi-Fi was also available in the village which helped.
Noise was an issue for a few guests who complained of partiers in the hotel and in the rooms that faced the village.
Although some guests thought the rooms were reasonably priced especially for having a kitchen, others felt the older state and general lack of upkeep made it not worth the cost.
