The Good
This hotel was enjoyed for its value, pleasant and updated air-conditioned rooms, great location, generous free hot breakfast, and free parking.

Rooms were very clean and spacious with comfy beds. Guests also liked the kitchens and views in some rooms.

The location was excellent. It was very close to the parliament buildings and harbour, and an easy walk to restaurants, museums and downtown.

Staff were impressive-- friendly, caring and helpful. Guests were pleased to have their luggage held and being allowed to park, when arriving earlier than check in time.

The free hot breakfast was highly praised by guests for its variety and quality. The chef was attentive to help guests with dietary needs and food was plentiful.

Guests also liked: movie night with free popcorn, and plenty of free parking.

The Bad
There was very little of a negative nature found online.

Recent room complaints were: pillow too soft, a slow bathtub drain, no microwave and average soap and shampoo.

Although many found the hotel quiet, there was the very occasional complaint of tour buses idling at 7 am or garbage trucks nearby in the morning.

Other comments found were: swimming pool is small, no 24-hour coffee station, the exterior is older, no ice machine on all floors, no restaurant on site, and hotel furniture is a little dated.
