The Good
This hotel was enjoyed for its excellent on-site dining, beautiful harbour views from private balconies, quiet but central location, free downtown shuttle, indoor-outdoor pool and excellent concierge service.
Rooms were very clean and spacious with nice toiletries and comfortable beds. Guests loved the views of the harbour and the Olympic Mountains from their balconies.
Guests loved the location. It was right on the water with a pretty and well-kept path nearby, the boardwalk, very close to eateries at Fisherman’s Wharf and away from the noisier downtown area but still walk-able to downtown.
Staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful.
The restaurant was very well liked. Guests said food was delicious and well presented.
The pool was impressive. Guests found it a lovely experience on sunny days and in the fall.
The free downtown shuttle service was prompt and reliable.
Guests also liked: water taxi was right out front for going downtown and exploring the area, citrus-flavoured ice water in the lobby, and the concierge was very helpful in setting up and providing transportation.

The Bad
There was some negative feedback online.
Recent room complaints were: in-room regular coffee is too strong, stained carpet, pillow too firm, uncomfortable bed and dated room and bathroom.
Noise transferred from: ice machines in the hall, a mini-fridge, an AC unit, the neighbours, and boat horns and sea planes landing if balcony doors were open.
Other comments found were: no free coffee station in the lobby, restaurant expensive and a bit of a hike from downtown.
