The Good
This B&B was enjoyed for its quiet but convenient location, hospitable staff, old world charm and satisfying home-made breakfast.

Rooms were clean, bright and beautifully decorated with comfy beds. Some appreciated large jetted tubs and windows that opened for fresh air.

Guests liked the quiet residential location. It was close to the Inner Harbour, restaurants, attractions and downtown. It offered easy access to the peaceful and uncrowded trails of Beacon Hill Park.

Hostess was friendly, efficient and accommodating.

Breakfast was delicious and well presented. Guests said the kind hostess worked with food allergies. Some enjoyed home baked goods and good coffee.

Guests also liked: meeting fellow travellers, lots of free parking, cookies and tea in the afternoon and sherry in the evenings.

The Bad
Some guests offered negative feedback.

Room complaints found were: inconsistent shower temperature, in-room carpet could use a deep clean or be replaced, dusty surfaces, dim lighting, window screen loose, no wood available for the fireplace (in winter), difficult to control the temperature, limited cable channels, and window coverings in the bathroom are sheer and see-through at night.

Noise transferred from: footsteps from room overhead and street (if windows are open).

Some guests complained about the quality of the breakfast and that there was no choice offered.

Other comments found: to-go breakfast was disappointing, staff not around at times, asked to pay an additional amount after booking online, no access to ice, and overpriced for quality of room.
