Overview

This 60-acre property is situated on the waterfront of Okanagan Lake, south of downtown Vernon. Offering private beaches, multiple on-site pools and hot tubs and natural surroundings, this hotel is well suited for guests looking for a resort experience.

This hotel is 100% smoke free and offers fully-furnished vacation rental units. All units include a 32" flat screen TV and DVD player, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, floor-to-ceiling windows, free Wi-Fi, deep soaker tubs, individual climate control and a private deck with a BBQ. Vacation homes are configured with two or three bedrooms. Select three bedroom units also include three bathrooms.

Free parking is available on site and pets are permitted in select units for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night. This hotel does not offer on-site dining or daily housekeeping.

Other on-site amenities include two outdoor pools, four hot tubs, a swimming and picnic area on the lake, a marina with on-site moorage for $25 per night, a tennis court, a picnic area and event space. The property also features acres of woodlands with trails.

The Vernon Golf and Country Club is a 30-minute drive away. The downtown area of Vernon is also about 30 minutes away by car and features shops, restaurants and entertainment. The Village Green Mall is 35 minutes away by car. The Vernon Airport (YVE) is about a 23-minute drive away. (All driving time estimates: Google Maps)

The Good

There were limited recent reviews available for this property. However, among those reviews, several guests seemed to thoroughly enjoy their stays at this hotel.

Several reviewers were impressed that their units were equipped with modern amenities and appliances, including the full kitchens and in-unit washers and dryers. One guest said that she was able to cook a full ham dinner in her unit. A few guests also agreed that their rooms were well appointed, comfortable and spacious. A couple of guests said that their units exceeded expectations.

A couple of reviewers praised the views of the mountains and water from their rooms and a few guests appreciated the lakefront location and described the resort as quiet and peaceful.

The Bad

As mentioned above, there were a limited number of recent reviews available for this editorial. Among those reviews, there were very few concerns or complaints found. However, a couple of guests were disappointed that this resort did not have an on-site grocery store or restaurant. These reviewers found it somewhat inconvenient to travel into the town of Vernon to access these amenities.
