Overview
The Empire Landmark Hotel is located on Robson Street in Vancouver, British Columbia between Nicola Street and Broughton Street. The Burrard SkyTrain station is just over one kilometer away from the property and Stanley Park is within two kilometers of the hotel. The hotel is also close to a lot of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
more The Sea-to-Sky Highway (#99) is a few blocks north of the hotel with northbound connections to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.
The hotel has 42 floors and facilities include a business centre, a restaurant, a hair salon, a gift shop, a fitness room, covered parking ($15/day), and coin operated laundry.

The Good
Guests who stayed at the Empire Landmark Hotel were often impressed with the property. Common compliments for the hotel mentioned the guest rooms, the location, or the price.
Guests who approved of their rooms frequently said something positive about the views that they had of the surrounding area. Guests said that they could see English Bay, Burrard Inlet, and the mountains to the north of Vancouver. One guest said his view was "stunning" while others paid similar compliments. Guests also thought that their rooms were large or spacious and multiple guests approved of the cleanliness.
Many guests also approved of the "great" location of the hotel which was called close to "everything." Guests that were more specific indicated that they liked being close to downtown Vancouver. Other guests said they were able to find restaurants, shopping, and/or public transportation nearby.
Several guests thought this hotel was a good pick for value. Many of these guests implied that the price was "right" for their budget or felt that the service/room they received was more than fair for the price that was paid.
The Bad
Guests were typically happy at this hotel however patrons that did not totally enjoy their stay often criticized the hotel's age, the parkade, or they found their room to be noisy.
Several guests judged the Empire Landmark Hotel to be a "dated" property. Some guests said their room needed upgrading, some said that the property was aging, while others just said that the hotel was "older."
