Overview

Located about a 5-minute walk from the Granville SkyTrain Station and a 6-minute drive from Vancouver's city centre, The Kingston Hotel Bed & Breakfast is suitable for travellers who prefer centrally located, bed and breakfast-style accommodations with a sauna, a free breakfast and easy access to public transit.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, a desk, a bathrobe and slippers for each guest, a phone and a shared or private bathroom. Rooms with a shared bathroom also have an in-room sink. Hair dryer and irons and ironing boards are available upon request and the hotel has an elevator.

Hotel amenities include a sauna, a computer station, laundry facilities, a free continental breakfast and on-site dining at Kingston Taphouse, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Public parking is available nearby for $22 per day and pets are not permitted.

Numerous reviewers praised the hotel's location, finding it close to public transit, downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, the airport, Granville St., nightlife, Gastown, Yaletown, restaurants, shopping and the harbour. One patron noted, "Its location is its key attraction... with its access to all forms of transportation on the doorstep and in a pleasant neighbourhood".

The hotel's accommodations were enjoyed by many lodgers. They described their rooms as clean, well maintained, quiet, well appointed and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. A few travellers had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).

Several guests were pleased with the hotel's rates. They describe them as reasonable, budget friendly and "one of the best prices you can get in downtown Vancouver".
