This property is situated in Jericho Beach Park, within a 5-minute walk of the beach and Jericho Pier. The University of British Columbia is 8 minutes away by car. Offering rooms with shared bathrooms, this hostel is better suited for guests comfortable with more intimate accommodations.
This hostel offers both private rooms and dorm rooms (couples and same-gender rooms). All rooms are smoke free and include lockers, linens and blankets. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are not available.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Parking is available adjacent to the hostel for an additional fee of $10 per 24 hours. Pets are not permitted.
The on-site NSCS Discovery Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Cafe is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.

A few guests mentioned that there were too few electrical outlets in the dorm rooms. As mentioned above, several reviewers were disturbed by noise from doors slamming and noise from the neighbouring park.
There were a few concerns, as mentioned above, about the location. A few guests noted that there wasn't a grocery store nearby and that there were no restaurants within walking distance (other than the on-site restaurant). A few other reviewers found the hostel farther from the downtown area than they expected.
