Overview

This property is situated among restaurants and shops in the village area of Sun Peaks. Access to three lifts on the north mountain are about a 1-minute walk away. This property is well suited for guests who are looking for both convenient access to skiing and village amenities.

This hotel is 100% smoke free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a coffeemaker, a TV with free movie channels, a table and chairs, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, windows that open and individual climate control. Select rooms also include a private balcony and/or a stove and fireplace.

Rooms with two double beds, one double and one queen bed, one or two queen beds, or one split-king (two twins) beds are available. Suites at this property feature full kitchens including a full-size fridge.

Underground parking is available on site for $10 plus tax per night and up to two pets are permitted in select rooms for an additional fee of $20 per night or a flat fee of $80 per week. Amenities for pets such as treats, waste bags and dishes are available upon request.

Other on-site amenities include an outdoor hot tub, a fitness centre and guest laundry facilities. There are several restaurants, cafes and shops situated within this complex including Bottoms Bar and Grill, a hair salon, a cafe, a juice bar and deli, gift shops and a ski/snowboard shop.

Access to the lifts for the south mountain and the Sun Peaks Golf Course are both a 6-minute walk away. Access to the Trans-Canada Highway and downtown Kamloops (shopping, restaurants, night life and museums) are about an hour away by car. Many guests seemed to thoroughly enjoy their stays at this property and many aspects of the hotel were complimented.

Among the reviews used for this analysis, many guests described their rooms as clean and one guest said that her room was spotless. Several guests thought that their rooms were well appointed and generally comfortable, while a few other reviewers found their in-suite kitchens well stocked.

The staff were frequently complimented for their accommodating and professional service. One reviewer thought that the customer service was awesome, while another reviewer said, "anything that you might want can be fulfilled by the friendly staff".

Many guests praised the location of this hotel. Reviewers described the location as seconds from the lifts and several guests also appreciated that there were coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

The Bad
