Located an hour's drive from downtown Vancouver and a 45-minute drive from Whistler Mountain, the Sandman Hotel and Suites Squamish is geared towards road travellers visiting Squamish and surrounding areas who require an economical hotel with a free continental breakfast and easy highway access.

These guests described it as basic, with a minimal selection, no hot items and no bowls for cereal. It was also mentioned that items were not replenished in a timely fashion and that the breakfast room itself was very crowded when the hotel was fully booked.
A few reviewers were disappointed with the level of noise transfer during their stay. They described noisy in-room air conditioning units, as well as TV noise and guests in adjacent rooms. These reviewers also complained of noise from loud guests partying in the hallway.
