Overview
Located about a 5-minute walk from the ocean on Highway 14, the Ocean Wilderness Inn is suitable for travellers who prefer a nature setting with a private beach area, a free breakfast and easy highway access.
more Each of the smoke-free guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge and a private bathroom with a hair dryer. Rooms with a soaker tub, a private entrance, a sitting area and a private balcony are also available and the inn is not wheelchair accessible.
The inn also offers a private beach area, a hot tub, a computer station, 24-hour coffee, a games room, guest laundry, BBQ facilities, free parking and a free breakfast. Well-behaved pets are permitted for $25 per pet, per day.

The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the inn's location, breakfast, rooms and staff.
The location was praised by numerous reviewers. They described it as serene and peaceful, as well as close to parks, the ocean, Botanical Beach, hiking, restaurants and Victoria.
Many lodgers enjoyed the breakfast, describing it as delicious, filling and tasty. One patron noted, "The breakfasts were spectacular! Lori accommodated everyone's quirky dietary needs with absolutely scrumptious offerings and directed us to local restaurants which would meet our needs for the other meals".
Several guests were pleased with their accommodations. They found their rooms to be quiet, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and linens. A couple of travellers had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).
