Coast Inn of the North Prince George

This hotel was well liked by many guests.

Guests found the rooms comfortable, quiet and nicely renovated. There were new walk-in showers, extra plugs for electronics, comfortable beds, nice linens and shades that cut out light completely.  

The staff made a great impression on guests. They were very friendly and responsive to requests, and supportive for those attending the hospital.

The location was quiet, convenient and central, in walking distance of shopping and restaurants. 

Guests often enjoyed dining and room service on site. Shogun was fun and interesting as they were able to watch the food being prepared. Winston's was a great place to have a drink and relax and guests liked the food there too with one recent guest commenting on the prime rib.

Guests also liked: citrus water in lobby, lavender pillows, plenty of parking, a clean and enjoyable indoor pool and fitness room, full-size bottles of shampoo and lotions and nice windows that open.

There was not much in the way of negative feedback.

Recent room complaints were: rooms/bathrooms were small, new walk-in showers spilled water through the doors, bulky pillows, bed squeaked, room too hot, inefficient AC and bad cable reception.

Some had noise disturbances with: the elevator, noisy neighbours, a bathroom fan, AC unit and the hum of fluorescent lights.

Occasionally guests complained about the area, and said there were a few sketchy/intoxicated people around at night.

Other comments found: pool area was a bit dated, pool water cool, and lobby was gloomy and dated.
