Overview

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and about a 2-minute drive from Victoria Golf Club, Oak Bay Beach Hotel is suitable for business or vacation travellers who prefer an oceanside hotel with meeting/banquet space, extended kitchen amenities, on-site dining and a spa and wellness centre.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms and suites offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a kitchenette, an iPod dock, a fireplace, a bathrobe for each guest, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and dogs are permitted for $30 per pet, per night.

Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool, a private beach area, a fitness centre, a sauna, a hot tub, a spa and wellness centre, meeting/banquet space, a business centre, guest laundry, grocery delivery, a coffee shop and free parking. The Good

The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's rooms, staff, food and location.

Numerous travellers praised the hotel's accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, well equipped, spacious, modern and luxurious, with gorgeous ocean views, large bathrooms and comfortable beds and linens.

The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers, who characterized them as efficient, friendly, accommodating and professional. One patron remarked, "All the staff were polite, friendly and bent over backwards to give us first rate service". A few guests did complain of slow room service, however.

Several lodgers complimented the hotel's restaurants. They described them as delicious, well presented, yummy, great and specifically mentioned The Snug Pub was reasonably priced.

The hotel's location was enjoyed by several guests. They found it close to the ocean, shopping, galleries, Oak Bay Village and restaurants.
