Located just 1-minute south of the Trans-Canada Highway and 4 km from North Vancouver's city centre, the North Vancouver Hotel is situated in between the North Shore Mountains and Vancouver Harbour and offers extended-stay amenities such as rooms with kitchens and 1-bedroom suites.
This two-storey non-smoking hotel has 72 air-conditioned guest rooms, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, complimentary tea, coffee and water, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk, and a hair dryer. Standard rooms with 2 queen beds or 1 king bed are available, as are rooms with kitchenettes. 1-bedroom suites offer a separate bedroom with a king bed and a TV, in addition to a full kitchen, a dining area and a living room with a sofabed, a desk and a TV.
The hotel offers each guest a pass to the full-service Fitness World Gym (a 4-minute walk southeast along Capilano Rd.), as well as a meeting room and an outdoor seasonal pool. Pets can stay for an additional $20 per night, accessible rooms are available upon request, and parking is free.

Several guests of the hotel were pleased with its location. They mentioned that it was close to the Trans-Canada Highway, Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. These guests also reported that the hotel was a short bus or car ride from downtown North Vancouver.
Many reviewers complimented the hotel staff and characterized them as friendly, very accommodating, and enthusiastic. The management was described as wonderful and helpful when requests by guests were made.
