The Good

Many guests said that the rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Some liked the high ceilings with large windows, views of the Fraser River, extras like mini-fridge and microwave, and were pleased with the air conditioning. One recent guest said his room was newly remodeled and another was very pleased to have high quality toiletries provided in the bathroom.
Guests liked the front desk agents and used words like friendly, pleasant, outstanding and informative to describe them. One guest reviewer wrote, "We were across town in no time at all with lots of info from the down stairs gentlemen who checked us in. He was very helpful and twice as nice as most people are."
According to guests, the location was excellent for accessing the SkyTrain for easy travel to Vancouver destinations. Other remarked on how many nearby restaurants literally surrounded the hotel.
Some called it a gem and several conveyed that they felt they had found something of good value. Some guests said they never used their car while they were there, as everything was either in walking distance or easily accessed with the SkyTrain.
The Bad
Guests mentioned a couple of weak areas of the hotel.
Guests who had rooms near to the SkyTrain station said that it could be noisy at times for those who are sensitive to noise, although it does not run during the late night and some guests were not bothered at all. One guest complained of hearing a neighbour's TV and another complained of music from the on-site bar.
Some guests mentioned that the parking arrangements were somewhat inconvenient, especially in bad weather as there is no on-site parking and the public parking facility is "a few blocks away". Some guests were able to find overnight street parking that was closer, and some suggested dropping luggage off first and then parking.
