Located about a 6-minute walk from Kamloops' city centre and a 6-minute drive from the nearest Trans-Canada Highway on-ramp, The Plaza Heritage Hotel is suitable for business or vacation travellers who prefer a centrally located hotel with meeting/banquet space, a free breakfast and easy highway access.

The hotel's accommodations were praised by numerous travellers. They described their rooms as clean, updated, quiet, well maintained and well equipped, with comfortable beds and strong Wi-Fi. A few patrons had complaints about their lodgings, however, (see below).
The hotel's free breakfast was enjoyed by several reviewers. They found it to be extensive, outstanding, delicious and fresh.
Several patron complimented the hotel's value. They described the rates as reasonable and low, and also cited the free breakfast as adding to the overall worth of the hotel. One guest remarked, "From refreshing punch on the desk as we arrived through to warm home baked muffins as we left, the whole experience was lovely. Phone calls were free (yes,really!) even home to the UK, there was a coupon for a free appetiser in the restaurant attached to the hotel (best meal we've had all week!) a 10% off voucher for the liquor store next door".
