Canada's Best Value Inn is located just off the Trans-Canada Highway near gas stations and in walking distance of many restaurants, Aberdeen Mall (The Bay, Cineplex Odeon theatre) and the Kamloops Convention Centre. Offering affordable and comfortable rooms with several freebies makes this a guest favourite in Kamloops.
This hotel has 37 air-conditioned and smoke-free guest rooms over 2 floors, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 32" flat screen cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a work desk, a hair dryer, and an iron & ironing board. Rooms are furnished with 1 king bed, 2 queen beds or 3 queen beds. The Good
Guests who reviewed this hotel had a lot of good things to say about it. They were very pleased with the good value they found here, the clean and comfortable rooms with modern amenities and the convenient location.
more They felt treated well by the owner and his staff, who were often mentioned by name in the reviews. Gentle and pleasant, he demonstrated genuine interest in his guests and their comfort. Many a guest reviewer felt cared for with personal attention and consideration.
Value for the dollar was a well-repeated theme in the reviews. Guests were often surprised at the quality of the amenities and rooms, for the price being charged. One guest also obtained a discount voucher for a nearby restaurant from the hotel. Freebies added to the value and included good Wi-Fi, a basic but sufficient continental breakfast, and free outdoor parking which guests were thankful for.
Guests judged the rooms to be clean, quiet and comfortable. Many were pleased to find a double queen and even a triple queen bed room, double jacuzzis, mini-fridges, microwaves and even full kitchens in the rooms. The views of the surrounding hills were also appreciated and some reviewers spoke about their comfortable beds as well.
The Bad
Complaints about the hotel were infrequent in the reviews read for this report, and were not typically representative of the overall sentiment of the guests who reviewed, but seemed more like one-time disturbances. However, a couple of common quibbles surfaced in the reviews.
