Overview
Featuring on-site natural hot springs, a spa, and a marina, this property is well suited for guests who are looking for a relaxing retreat. This resort is situated on the waterfront in Harrison Hot Springs and there are multiple restaurants and shops within a 5-minute walk.

This property is 100% smoke-free and offers rooms in the main building, west wing, west tower, east tower and private cabins. Rooms in the main building include free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, a hair dryer, a mini-fridge, a ceiling fan, individual heating (no air conditioning), and a table and chairs. Rooms are furnished with one queen bed and two twin beds, one double bed or one double bed and a twin bed. Rooms offer lake, pool or mountain views.

Rooms in the west wing include the above mentioned amenities and also a coffeemaker, air conditioning and bathrobes. These rooms are furnished with two queen beds or one king bed and offer views of the lake or garden. Guest rooms in the west tower include the same amenities as rooms in the west wing and also feature a private balcony. These rooms are furnished with two queen beds or one king bed and offer views of the lake or pool.

Rooms in the east tower feature views of the lake or mountains and include all the above mentioned amenities (including balconies). East tower rooms are furnished with two queen beds or one king bed.

The on-site cabins feature private entrances, a living room with a gas fireplace, a futon, a flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, bathrobes, a mini-fridge, a patio table and chairs, and a private lawn. Cabins do not have Wi-Fi access but the hotel instructs that the signal can be picked up in the lobby and brought back to the cabin.

Parking is available on site for an additional fee of $6 per day. Pets are permitted in cabins at no additional fee and pets are permitted in select guest rooms for an additional fee of $100 per stay.

This property offers four on-site dining options. The Lakeside Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while The Copper Room serves dinner only. Miss Margaret's serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. This property also has an on-site bar and room service is available.

The on-site spa features natural hot springs, an indoor pool, an indoor hot tub, and three outdoor pools (adult and family pools). The on-site marina provides kayak rentals, fishing, nature tours and bumper boats. Other on-site amenities include meeting rooms, gift shops, a business centre and concierge service.

The Oak Tree Golf Course is about 4 minutes away by car. The Trans-Canada Highway and the Bridal Veil Falls are both about a 20-minute drive away. The Chilliwack Airport (YCW) is 28 minutes away by car. The Cottonwood Shopping Mall is a 32-minute drive away, while the Meadowlands Golf and Country Club is 36 minutes away by car. Most of the reviews sourced for this analysis were of a highly positive nature, with guests saying they were planning to return to the hotel to enjoy another stay.

The relaxing experience obtained from the natural hot springs and pools were mentioned as the highlight of this resort by many guests.

Several guests praised the staff for their friendly and accommodating service, while a few reviewers appreciated that the front desk agents offered room upgrades when available.

The food and atmosphere at The Copper Room restaurant was enjoyed by many reviewers, some of which were returning customers to the hotel. Guests also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, lunch and afternoon tea at the hotel. Many guests found the experience of dining and dancing to live music at The Copper Room to be very enjoyable.

Many guests described the surrounding scenery and grounds of the property as beautiful, and many described pleasant views from their guest rooms (in the east tower and west wing).

The Bad
Although most of the reviews sourced for this analysis were of a very positive nature, there were some complaints found, mainly regarding noise transfer and the size of some of the hotel rooms.

Several guests complained that the pools, while very enjoyable, were also very crowded at times and could get quite noisy for those nearby or for guests whose rooms overlooked the pools.

Several guests said their rooms were rather small in the older section of the hotel (main building) and a few complained of noise transfer from guests in rooms above theirs, saying the floors were creaky.

A couple of guests thought the food was expensive in the Copper Room restaurant. One of these guests said "pricey but excellent".

A couple of guests were put out for having to pay extra for parking. (Parking is $6 per day extra.)

Finally, some guests said the hotel was dated and a couple of guests said there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom in their room.
