Woodlands Inn and Suites is located just off the Alaska Highway, a 4-minute drive from downtown Fort Nelson. The hotel offers a number of amenities such as one-bedroom suites with kitchenettes or jacuzzi, a restaurant and lounge, a liquor store and a fitness centre. This hotel may appeal to those wanting a hotel in Fort Nelson with good highway access and offering a wide variety of on-site amenities.
This hotel offers 202 pet-free rooms and suites (some of which allow smoking) over six floors. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, satellite TV with 96 channels, a coffeemaker, air conditioning, a hair dryer and black out drapes. All rooms feature king or queen pillowtop beds. Room extras include an iron and ironing board, an LCD TV, an ergonomic desk chair, robes, a microwave, a mini-fridge and complimentary bottled water. The majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive and focused on the rooms, the staff and the restaurant. Many guests were quite enthusiastic about the hotel and considered it the best in Fort Nelson. They described it as new and modern with reasonable rates.
