The Good
Many guests enjoyed comfortable stays at the hotel and provided a lot of positive feedback about the hotel.
The location was well liked for being a short walk to 'everything' and downtown and being conveniently located to favourite restaurants and great beer.
The staff were well pleasing, with many commenting on their helpfulness, friendliness and attentiveness.
Several guests enjoyed having a pub on site and one said it was a great place to hang out after a day on the slopes. They found the food and alcohol to be reasonably priced and very good.
Several guests enjoyed the indoor pool, and the area surrounding it for watching their kids.
A few guests felt the hotel was well priced for the size and quality of the rooms as well as the many hotel amenities available, and were pleased to have parking and Wi-Fi included in the room rate.
The Bad
There was some negative feedback somewhat scattered through the reviews, with the most common complaint being noise disturbances.
more Bothersome noise came from: traffic, train horns, squeaky floors, guest conversations in adjoining rooms that were heard too clearly through the doors, music from the dining area or bar, guests in the pool, a fan in the liquor store and fridge cabinets banging shut in the liquor store.
Although the pub was very well reviewed, occasionally guests found the service slow at the on-site restaurant. As well the restaurant prices and food quality was sometimes praised and sometimes criticized.
There was also the odd comment about the hotel being a little outdated in places.
