Econo Lodge Inn and Suites Cranbrook is located on Highway 3/95 across the street from Tamarack Mall. It offers no-frills accommodations for those travelling on a budget. These features may appeal to road travellers wanting an affordable hotel for a short stay.
This hotel offers 72 rooms (some of which allow smoking) over two floors. Standard room features include a TV, a hair dryer, a desk, a coffeemaker, a fridge, a microwave and one or two queen beds or one king bed. Suites may sleep from two to five people and feature a kitchenette, one or two queen beds and, in some rooms a, sofabed. Free Wi-Fi and local calls are available in all rooms. Pets are allowed for an additional $22 per night.
Amenities at this hotel include a business centre and guest-operated laundry. Ricky's All Day Grill is on site, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Free parking is available to all guests.
There are several restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel and the downtown area is a 5-minute drive away. Cranbrook RecPlex, home the Kootenay Ice WHL team, is a 5-minute drive from the hotel while the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel is about a 2-minute drive away.
