The Bad
Guests who were more critical of their stay focused on noise disturbances, and on the condition of the older section of the hotel.

Noise disturbance was an issue for some from: AC units, ice and vending machines, the sound of water running, doors slamming, hallway chatter, pub patrons on the patio and outside traffic.

Also, certain rooms proved to be too noisy for several guests: rooms that overlooked the river to the southeast of the property faced a bridge with busy traffic all night long. Guests explained that the bridge was made of steel grating and loud whining sounds were amplified toward the hotel, which made it difficult to rest. The room over the underground parking drive-thru, also proved to be noisy with cars passing through until 2 am and 3 am at times, and another guest complained of noise from being across from the "machinery room for the elevator" which produced a continuous sound.

Some reviewers judged certain wings of the hotel to be dated and worn and more than one reviewer said the pool was small, dark and hidden in the basement. One guest conveyed the sentiment of several guests well, "We were surprised to get a dated room in the old hotel wing, which had a sunken balcony with no view at all. The room was dark, but generally clean. The bed was comfy. The hidden swimming pool and sauna were a bit depressing."

Occasionally guests complained of not enough parking or not having a mini-fridge in their rooms.
