Overview
This property is situated at the junction of Highway 97 and the Trans-Canada Highway, a perfect stopover point for guests travelling from Kamloops or Vancouver. The town area is about a 3-minute drive north of this hotel. With no on-site recreational facilities, this hotel is better suited for guests looking for convenient highway access.

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 42" flat screen TV with cable, data port, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, an iron and ironing board, a desk with ergonomic chair, a seating area, a hair dryer and individual climate control. Rooms are furnished with 1 queen bed or 2 double beds. Room extras include a kitchenette (a microwave, a fridge, a stove top, a sink with counter, cookware, dinnerware) and drive-up rooms. The Good
In the reviews read for this report, guests conveyed that this hotel provided a clean place to rest for a night or two while travelling through. Highlights were air conditioners that worked well, pretty grounds and very nice owners.
Although the hotel was older and could use some updates, guests found the rooms to be very clean and quiet with air conditioners that cooled well and working Wi-Fi. Some guests found the beds comfortable (although some found them too hard).
The location was handy to highways going in all directions, with restaurants in easy walking distance but not close to much by way of shopping. One guest said it was near a creek with lovely flowers.
Guests liked the staff and owners. They were called kind, compassionate, warm and friendly in the reviews and guests told of how they went out of their way to accommodate them.
Several guests praised the food and service at the on-site restaurant.
Guests liked the surrounding grounds, including a garden area and picnic tables, which were well maintained and enjoyable. A few guests thought that the room rates were reasonable.
The Bad
This was seen as a pretty average place with some strengths and weaknesses.
more The hotel was older and the walls were not all that soundproof according to some. The building needed better upkeep, although recent reviews say it has been renovated.
Some issues mentioned were: a hard mattress, a slow drain, noise from the parking lot, too dark in the room, dated room with no deadbolt, a noisy air conditioner and a mini-fridge did not cool sufficiently.
Some guests thought the prices were getting a little high.
