Clean and pet-friendly hotel in Rocky Mountain House with restaurant and free hot breakfast
We recommend the Walking Eagle as a good cheaper option in this area. Although it’s an older hotel it’s able to satisfy most of its customers. It has two buildings, an inn or main building, and the lodge which was built in the 90's. Guests gave good marks to the complimentary breakfast, the excellent staff, comfy beds and on-site restaurant.
It's about a 10-minute drive to town for groceries, shopping and the Bard Twin Theatre.
Rooms come with a smoking preference, air conditioning and feature cable/satellite TV, coffeemakers and mini-fridges. Microwaves are available in lodge rooms, but upon request at the main building. Suites with separate living rooms, full kitchens, DVD player and jetted tubs are also on offer.
Hotel amenities include drive-up rooms, parking lot with winter plug-ins, fitness room, steam room, hot tub, business centre, guest laundry and ATM. The modern and friendly Best Western is also our recommendation in Rocky Mountain House as a good mid-range hotel. There's no on site restaurant, but they offer an indoor pool with waterslide. Guests liked the location close to services, the free breakfast for selection and quality and the clean pool and waterslide.
