Overview
This resort offers an on-site casino and multiple dining options, and so is well suited for guests who are looking for an entertainment-oriented resort experience. This property is less than a 1-minute drive from the Trans-Canada Highway.
more All rooms are smoke free, however smoking is permitted in the casino. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, a 32" flat screen TV, an iPod docking station, bathrobes, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, a desk and individual climate control. Rooms are furnished with one king bed or two queen beds.
Suites are also furnished with a second flat screen TV, a fireplace and a wetbar. Select suites also include a jetted tub and all suites are furnished with one king bed.
Free parking is available on site and pets are not permitted.
The on-site Ridge Buffet serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sidelines Lounge serves lunch and dinner and shows pay-per-view events. Room service is also available.
The casino offers slots, table games, off-track betting, a golf simulator and live entertainment. Other on-site amenities include an indoor pool, a waterslide, a business centre, meeting/event space, safe deposit boxes and secure ski storage. A free shuttle to and from Banff and Canmore is available on Fridays and Saturdays and operates on a set schedule.
The Nakoda College is 14 minutes away by car. The town of Cochrane is a 35-minute drive away, while the town of Canmore is about 30 minutes away by car. Downtown Calgary, which features shopping, restaurants and the Saddle Dome, is a 50-minute drive away. The Calgary International Airport (YYC) is about 55 minutes away by car.
