Overview

This hotel is situated among local businesses on Highway 16/Yellowhead Trail (3 hours west of Saskatoon and 2 1/2 hours east of Edmonton). With on-site dining, recreational facilities and business amenities, this property is well suited for both leisure guests and business travellers.

Both smoking and non-smoking accommodations are available. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a 26" or 32" flat screen TV with pay-per-view movies, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a work desk and ergonomic chair, an iron and ironing board and individual climate control. Rooms are furnished with two queen beds or one king bed.

Suites provide more spacious accommodations with a separate sitting area, a sofabed and a second flat screen TV. Select suites also include a kitchenette or a jetted tub. Suites are furnished with one king bed.

Free parking is available on site and pets are not permitted.

The on-site Smitty's Restaurant and Lounge serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and alcoholic beverages.

Other on-site amenities include an indoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness centre, meeting space, a business centre, guest copy and fax service, same-day dry cleaning, an ATM, an ice machine and safe deposit boxes.

LloydMall (retail shopping, drug store, grocery store and fast food restaurants) is a 3-minute drive east of this property, while the big box shopping and chain restaurant area on Highway 16 is about a 3-minute drive west. The industrial business area, including the Husky Oil Refinery, is about 4 minutes away by car. The Servus Sports Centre (fitness centre, arenas, conference space and sports courts) is a 9-minute drive away.

Guests complimented many aspects of this hotel and described overall enjoyable stays, among the reviews used for this analysis. Some reviewers indicated that they were likely to stay at this hotel again in the future.

The guest rooms were described as clean by many guests and one reviewer said that his room was "immaculate". Several guests found their beds to be comfortable and a few reviewers appreciated that the hotel provided two types of pillow firmness. A couple of reviewers thought that the rooms were quiet and well-equipped with amenities.
