Overview
This hotel is situated at the corner of 51st Street and Highway 17/50th Avenue (the Alberta/Saskatchewan border). With no on-site recreational facilities, this property is best suited to guests who prefer basic accommodations or leisure travellers who are looking to access off-site entertainment.
more This hotel is 100% smoke free and pet free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a work desk, free local calls, a hair dryer and individual climate control. Select rooms also include an iron and ironing board.
Free parking is available on site. A free continental breakfast is served from 6 am to 10 am on weekdays and from 7 am to 10 am on weekends. The on-site RC's Rib & Steakhouse and Cocktail Lounge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other on-site amenities include guest copy and fax service and free newspapers.
The Border City Petting Zoo is 2 minutes away by car and the Lloydminster Golf and Country Club is also a 2-minute drive away. The Barr Colony Heritage Cultural Centre is a 3-minute drive away, while the Bud Miller All-Season Park (offering ice skating, hiking, fishing and tennis) is a 9-minute drive away. The Lloyd Mall is 5 minutes away by car.

One reviewer discovered spills on the bathroom counter from a previous guest, while another guest said that she, "didn't even want to touch the door handles."
Many reviewers thought that the selection at the free breakfast was poor. A couple of guests noticed that oilfield workers accessed the breakfast at 6 am and there was little food left for guests attending the breakfast between 7 am and 10 am. These guests also mentioned that breakfast items were not adequately replenished.
