The rooms were often described as clean, while a few reviewers added that their rooms were generally comfortable and spacious, although basic.

Several guests found the hotel too tired and dated, with old rooms and TVs. They described poorly-repaired fixtures and old and chipped furniture. It also did not meet the cleanliness expectations of a lot of guests, although more reviewers stated it was clean. Occasionally a guest would complain of bad odours, hard beds and noisy guests.

Staff was not always handling matters in a friendly or professional manner and several guests described run-ins and problems they had in their communication with the owners/staff. Guests were not always provided with breakfast at the advertised time as the staff was not there, guests were sometimes charged more than the agreed amount when booking online, and more than one guest complained of finding rooms with double-sized beds, when the hotel's own website states that all beds are queen size. In addition, some guests were expecting mini-fridges and microwaves to be in all the rooms, but when they got to the hotel, they found that their rooms did not have these amenities.
