Overview
Located about a 1-minute drive from the Yellowhead Highway and a 5-minute drive from Jasper's village centre in Jasper National Park, the Tekarra Lodge is geared towards travellers who prefer centrally located self-contained cabins with extended kitchen amenities, on-site dining and easy highway access.

Each of the property's smoke-free cabins comes equipped with a kitchenette or full kitchen, a coffeemaker, a BBQ, a wood-burning fireplace, a deck and a hair dryer. Units with a separate bedroom, a seating area with a sofabed and a dining area are also available. The property is not wheelchair accessible.
Lodge amenities include free Wi-Fi in public areas, a business centre, guest laundry, vending machines, bicycle rental, a playground, free parking and on-site dining at Tekarra Restaurant, which serves breakfast and dinner daily. Pets are permitted for $25 per pet, per stay.
Jasper Yellowhead Museum & Archives are about a 5-minute drive away, while Super A Foods can be found 3 minutes away by car. The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the location, rooms and staff of this accommodation.
The lodge's location was praised by many guests, who described it as easily accessible and close to the highway, downtown Jasper and the Athabasca River. One patron noted, "We were close enough to the town to run in for quick supplies (Tim Hortons for my wife), but far enough away to hear the silence of the night. The morning hikes along the rivers were amazing and the view spectacular".
